Description

This passive twinax copper breakout DAC connects a single 400G OSFP port to eight 50G SFP56 ports over a 1 metre run. Each of the eight legs carries one 50Gb/s PAM-4 electrical lane, giving 400G aggregate bandwidth. It suits short-distance server-to-switch and leaf-spine connections within a rack or between adjacent racks, with low power consumption and latency thanks to its passive design.
