Description

This passive twinax copper breakout cable connects one 400G OSFP port to four 100G QSFP ports, supporting 400GBASE-CR8 to 4x 100GBASE-CR2 breakout. The OSFP end uses 8x 50G PAM-4 electrical lanes, while each QSFP end uses 2x 50G PAM-4 lanes. At 1 meter in length, it suits short in-rack and adjacent-rack connections in data centre and high-density switching deployments, offering lower cost and power per bit than optical alternatives.
