Description

This 1 metre passive twinax copper breakout cable connects a 200G OSFP port (200GBASE-CR8) to two 100G QSFP ports (100GBASE-CR4). It suits short-reach switch-to-server and switch-to-switch links within a rack or between adjacent racks, offering a cost-effective alternative to optics where distances are short. The EEPROM on each connector is programmed to indicate signal format and maximum data rate, supporting compatibility with non-Arista equipment such as server NICs.
