Description

This Arista 25G SFP28 active optical cable links two SFP28 ports at 25 Gbps over multimode fibre at 850nm, with optical transceivers built into each end. The 10 meter length suits top-of-rack and adjacent-rack 25GbE connections between switches, servers and storage. As a lightweight, low-power alternative to copper DAC, it removes the need for separate optics. It is the 10 meter option within the AOC-S-S-25G range of cable lengths.
