Description

This 3-metre 10GBASE-AOC active optical cable has SFP+ connectors on both ends, providing a 10GbE link between Arista switches, servers and NICs. It runs over 850nm multimode fibre with permanently attached SFP+ modules, so no separate transceivers or patch cables are needed. The 3m length suits short links within a rack or between adjacent racks, and the lighter, more flexible cable is easier to route in tight spaces than SFP+ DAC copper.
