This 3m QSFP+ to QSFP+ active optical cable delivers 40GbE (40GBASE-SR4) over multimode fibre using integrated optics, so no separate transceivers or patch cables are required. It suits short 40G links within a rack or between adjacent racks in data centre and top-of-rack deployments.
