Description

This 1m 100GbE QSFP28 to QSFP28 active optical cable provides a pre-terminated short-reach link between Arista switches, based on IEEE 802.3 100GBASE-SR4 over multimode fibre. It replaces separate transceivers and fibre patch cables with a single lightweight assembly, making it well suited to in-rack and adjacent-rack connections. The 1m length is ideal for tight top-of-rack and adjacent-switch deployments where a lighter, more flexible alternative to copper DAC cabling is preferred.
