Description

This passive OSFP to QSFP28 adapter converts an OSFP host port to accept a QSFP28 100G transceiver or cable on compatible Arista switches. It performs form factor conversion only, with no signal conversion, and carries 100Gbps over four 25G NRZ electrical lanes. The OSFP port must be configured for 100G operation when a QSFP module is inserted, making it a practical option for reusing existing QSFP28 optics and cabling in OSFP-equipped platforms.
