Description

The QFX-SFP-DAC-3M is a passive twinax direct attach copper cable with an SFP+ connector at each end. It is built for short-reach 10 Gigabit Ethernet links, such as top-of-rack switch to server or switch to switch connections within a rack or between adjacent racks.

The cable is 3 metres long and operates as 10GBASE-CU over passive twinax copper. It is rated for the standard temperature range of 0 to 70 C. Because it is a passive cable, it needs no external power. It is intended for Juniper SFP+ 10GbE ports, including those on QFX and EX series switches.
