Description

The Meraki MS120-8FP is a compact, fanless Layer 2 cloud-managed access switch built for branch offices, retail sites and small deployments that need a quiet PoE switch for IP phones, cameras and wireless access points. It is managed entirely through the Meraki Dashboard.

The switch provides eight 10/100/1000BASE-T RJ45 PoE/PoE+ ports and two 1G SFP uplinks, with a 124W PoE budget available across the full set of ports. Switching capacity is 20 Gbps with a 14.88 Mpps forwarding rate. It supports 4094 VLANs, a 16,000-entry MAC address table, 9600-byte jumbo frames and six dedicated QoS queues for converged voice, video and data traffic. Power comes from a fixed internal supply with 100-240 VAC input.

This is the hardware-only SKU and requires a Meraki MS120-8 cloud-management licence to operate on the Dashboard. The two uplink ports accept standard 1G SFP optics, and multiple switches can be virtually stacked through the Dashboard.
