This 40G QSFP+ to QSFP+ active optical cable provides a direct fibre link between two 40GbE QSFP+ ports using 850nm multimode fibre. Rated for reach up to 100m, it suits top-of-rack to aggregation links and short data centre runs where passive copper falls short. The QSFP+ MSA form factor and integrated optics remove the need for separate transceivers and patch cabling.
