FAQs

Q: What cabling is recommended for LRM?
A: LRM is designed for legacy MMF (OM1/OM2) and supports OM3/OM4; use LC duplex patching and mode-conditioning on older fiber if required.

Q: What is the maximum distance?
A: Up to 220 meters over supported multimode fiber types.

Q: Is it interoperable with SR optics?
A: No. LRM must link to another LRM at 1310 nm; SR operates at 850 nm and will not interoperate.

Q: Does it support DOM monitoring?
A: Yes, digital diagnostics are supported for link health monitoring.
