Cisco ISR 4221 with 2 onboard GE, 2 NIM slots, 1 ISC slot, 8 GB Flash Memory default, 4 GB DRAM default
The Cisco 4000 Series Integrated Services Router (ISR) family revolutionizes WAN communications in the enterprise branch. With new levels of built-in WAN intelligence and convergence, it specifically addresses the growing need for application-aware networking in distributed enterprise sites. The Cisco 4300 Series ISRs (4351, 4331, and 4321) ship with a default memory of 4 GB of DRAM for both the control plane and data plane and 4 GB of flash memory. In the 4351 and 4331, the 4-GB DRAM configuration is derived by the installation of two symmetrical DIMMs of 2 GB in each of the memory slots of the Cisco 4351 and 4331 ISR platforms. In the Cisco 4321 ISR, 4 GB of DRAM is soldered on to the motherboard and is not serviceable.
